Playful microinteractions in digital services
Exploring how to put playful microinteractions into practice in the domain of public digital services with the goal to facilitate a more engaging user experience. This was done by integrating playfulness into an existing customs calculator to test how it affects the experience.
Sketching and exploring how a playful approach can help users engage with a trivial service encounter such as customs calculator.
Example of one of the prototypes. The prototype is interactive and made in Framer.
Playfulness in design can be used as a mean for engaging the user and enhancing the users’ positive understanding of the service they interact with.
